Community Connections Group Activities

The Community Connections Program unites Newcomers with Canadian volunteers where they can become more connected to their communities, practice English communication skills and learn more about their professions and Canadian workplace cultures. Newcomers are able to adapt, settle and integrate into Canadian Society by gaining a sense of belonging and by being given opportunities to build and develop networks with people who are rooted in Canadian culture. The Group Activities offered through the Community Connections Program allow Newcomers to explore the City of Toronto, meet and network with others as well as informally practice English. Activities are offered Monday to Sunday, during the day or evenings. All times and days are subject to booking times and availability.

Eligibility Restrictions: All participants must present their Permanent Resident card upon registration
